The Puppy Head-Start Program
Our Puppy Head-Start is an intensive, 5 or 10-day daytime training program designed to build an immediate foundation for puppies aged 8 to 16 weeks. Drop your puppy off on your morning commute, and let us handle the exhausting hourly work of early development. Here with us during the day, and home with you practicing the new skills.
Skip the puppy exhaustion. Let a 21-year pro handle the hardest weeks. Bringing home a young puppy is exciting, but constant potty accidents, crate crying, and relentless nipping and destruction can quickly become overwhelming—especially if you have to work.

Mimi is your trusted expert in puppy training!
With over 21 years of experience in dog daycare, she has guided a plethora of puppies in learning and socializing the pack leader way. Her enthusiasm is evident in her past interactive game based classes and tailored behavioral sessions for dog owners.
Your dog isn't trained unless they listen under intense distraction. My group classes weren't quiet classrooms—they were game-based-high-energy, real-world simulations designed to bulletproof your dog's focus. Now she focuses on them one-on-one. She retired running classes, to focus more on each case, as each of us are so different, and training isn't cookie cutter.
She earned her certifications from Master Trainer and esteemed Animal Behaviourist, Tony Parker, who retired in 2012, and also 'Animal Emotions' certification from Dr Karolina Westlund, Ph.D, a professor of ethology at the University of Stockholm, Sweden in 2018. Currently she is also studying for her certification in 'Trauma Placement care'.
She has owned a pack of 3 - 5 dogs for most of her life (39 yrs) and ran a pack of 25+ dogs, solo, for 14 years and now runs a pack of 15 dogs a day in her dog daycare. Most dogs start very young, and are potty trained and socialized at the daycare, so her specialty is puppies.

For worthwhile and interesting Podcasts; (@hubermanlab) by Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., a neuroscientist and tenured professor in the department of neurobiology of ophthalmology, and also of psychiatry and behavioural sciences at Stanford School of Medicine, interviews my behaviourist professor Karolina Westlund, Ph.D, where they discuss dogs quite extensively.
This is a very interesting and enlightening interview, well worth the watch for any dog lover.
The other one is all about dogs and calm energy, which I credit my own success in the dog industry to, and that is an interview with renowned and amazing dog psychologist, behaviourist and trainer, Cesar Millan.
