Doggy Doolil daycare, established in 2005, is Surrey BC's trusted destination for professional dog training and day care. As a certified behavioural dog trainer, I, the owner, operate a unique members-only service that ensures a safe, consistent, and structured environment for all dogs in my care. Our services go beyond standard daycare, as we focus on teaching proper boundaries and behaviours to help dogs transition these skills into their home lives. I manage up to 20 dogs daily, fostering socialization and play in a kennel-free, crate-free facility.

 

Our approach is grounded in the philosophy that dogs need structure, rules, boundaries, and plenty of time for fun and exercise. By creating an environment that prioritizes both learning and play, Doggy Doolil helps dogs overcome issues related to grief, fear, and rage, turning those challenges into positive growth like sharing, caring and play. These are 3 of the CORE positive emotions. We offer a safe retreat for dogs who need a break from long, lonely days at home or maybe underfoot in busy households, or simply an outlet to expend all that extra energy.

 

What sets Doggy Dooli'l apart is our Memberships, and our commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe space for our members. Our long running successful daycare facility has air purifiers to ensure excellent air quality, and our turf is designed for maximum cleanliness and comfort. As a licensed and insured business, we are fully equipped to handle dogs of all breeds and sizes with the utmost care and attention. We now however only take medium to small dogs under 70 lbs (2024).

 

Our no-kennel, no-crate policy ensures that dogs can roam freely and engage with each other naturally and stress-free. Safety is a top priority, with first aid certification and careful oversight while I keep and eye and ear on them at all times. The membership-based model allows us to limit exposure to a select group of breeds, which helps maintain a harmonious environment for play and socialization. Some training is expected, but puppies come to learn from the pack. And we have the best pack in Surrey!
