MEMBER POLICIES

Holiday, skip a day or Break in Schedule

  • Your membership comes with a few rules, and I ask for your commitment to the daycare, and your dogs' spot in the pack, to keep and maintain good member status and communication

  • You can arrange to switch a day if you're not able to make it in, but you will need to give us 24 hours notice, and use that day in the same month, if we have the space

  • In case of emergency or illness, we do allow some of your missed days to be rolled over to the following month as long as you provide proof and as long as we are notified right away

  • All daycare bookings are scheduled in advance, and paid for by the start of each month

  • You own your spot and you are responsible for it, even when you don't show up, and up until you give up your spot

  • To switch your day we need a days notice

  • To add or reduce days to your schedule, notice must be via email at the time of invoicing, and 2 weeks prior to the start of next month

  • We go month to month to reduce my time doing administrative duties and gives me more time  with the dogs

  • Drop off and pickup times are strictly enforced

  • Failure to train your dog in a calm assertive way may cause you to lose your dogs spot

  • Member dogs attend at least once a week to maintain membership 

Late Payments, Cancellations or Refunds
 

  • Your invoice must be paid before the 1st of the month to maintain your membership and discounted daily rate

  • Failure to pay your invoice will cause unpaid days to be charged at 'introductory' rate of 35 dollars a day until payment is received, or membership is cancelled

  • Repeated late payments can cause you to lose your dogs spot

  • When cancelling your membership with Doggy Doolil Daycare your remaining days cannot be refunded, so plan accordingly and give proper notice

  • Two weeks notice is required so we can fill your monthly spot

  • If you fail to give us two weeks notice in cancelling your membership with Doggy DooLil Daycare, you will be responsible for 2 weeks of the booked spots coming up the following month, as we were not given enough time to fill your spot

  • If your membership is cancelled by Doggy Doolil Daycare due to argumentative or abusive treatment of staff or misrepresentation of your dog, or destructive behavior of your dog, you do not qualify for a refund

  • If you dog harms another dog or handler, your dog will be removed from the pack and you will be called to collect your dog, and membership will be canceled

  • We do not give refunds

  • All totals on account must be paid prior to checking your dog out

 

Private Training, Boarding and Events
 

  • One-on-One sessions: Payment is due at start of the first session

  • PackLeader Obedience cannot offer refunds, but can arrange to make up classes

  • Any questions or concerns you have regarding our terms and conditions, please discuss them with your trainer

  • Also applicable for Board & Train clients

  • 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations

  • 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking with the balance due upon check-in

  • Failing to inform us of something that will hinder or disrupt normal operations will see a charge on their invoiceFor example, claiming your dog is house trained when in fact it is not. Failing to mention medical issues or aggression 

  • Board & Train - It is the responsibility of the dog owner to follow up on the training through the private 1 hour lesson provided per week, which are included with the program

  • No refunds or credits are available for Board & Train programs or for regular boarding clients

  • A deposit is due upon booking a private session with our trainer/behaviorist, with the balance due at the start of the first session

  • All training packages are non-refundable

  • $50 deposit is required for all booked classes and the balance is due at the start of first night of class. Make up classes are not offered

  • Payment is due at the beginning of the session 

  • PackLeader Obedience cannot offer refunds

  • Board and Train clients cannot ask for a refund if the dog has shown signs of aggression and is destructive of property. Misrepresenting a dog for boarding comes under the same rules as board and train dogs and daycare dogs

  • Any questions or concerns you have regarding our terms and conditions, please discuss them with your trainer

 

Privacy Policy
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. Any and all photo or media used or taken by Doggy Doolil is owned by Doggy Doolil a.k.a Mimi Jacobson.

 

Hours of Operation

Open hours for drop off and pick up is strictly enforced. We ask that you schedule your drop and pickup with us for the safety of the home and the dogs attending daycare. We are not always available, as the pack needs our attention. Disturbing us without having scheduled your arrival can result in losing your daycare spot. City bylaw asks us to control our barking dogs for the enjoyment of the neighborhood, and we follow that by having set hours for drop off and pick up. 
 

  • CLOSED ON ALL STAT HOLIDAYS

  • Member Perk* AVAILABLE FOR EARLY DROP OFF STARTING AT 6 AM (scheduled in advance)

  • OPEN DROP OFF 7 AM -9 AM / Monday - Friday

  • NAP TIME IS BETWEEN 11 am - 1 PM / DO NOT DISTURB...I MEAN IT...OR I'LL BITE

  • OPEN PICKUP 2 PM-5 PM 

  • LATE PICKUP WILL BE CHARGED LATE FEE IF NOT NOTIFIED BY PHONE BEFORE CLOSING

  • ABUSING DROP OFF & PICKUP BY ARRIVING EARLY OR LATE CAN RESULT IN LOSS OF SPOT       

  • UNPAID DAYS USED WILL BE CHARGED AT 'INTRODUCTORY' RATE of $35 A DAY UNTIL PAID IN FULL

  • A $15/night surcharge applies to all B & B's on long weekends, the holiday season and spring break
     

CHANGES/UPDATES TO NOTICES AND POLICIES

Doggy DooLil dog day care will continue to implement new technologies and improve the services we provide, so our Policies are subject to change. We reserve the right to change or update our Notices and Policies and to modify or terminate the Site for any reason, without notice and without liability to you or any other participating third party. As a Site user and member of Doggy DooLil daycare, you are responsible for regularly reviewing our Policies in order to remain informed of our practices and your obligations as you visit and use our Site and attend Doggy Doolil Daycare. Our current Policies constitute the entire agreement (waiver) between you and Doggy DooLil daycare as you use our Site and supersedes all prior understandings or agreements, written or oral, in this regard.
