Behaviour Consultation
Welcome!
I am a Certified Animal Behaviour Consultant and the owner of Doggy Doolil Daycare in Surrey, which I opened in 2005. Over the years, I got certified in Pet First Aid, Obedience, and Animal Behaviour, allowing me to expertly care for a pack of up to 30 dogs, on my own, in an open concept facility, free from kennels or cages. This also allowed me to delve into the behaviour of the humans that came along with those dogs, and helped me understand them both better. My behavioural skills go way past just understanding the dog.
The love and respect I have cultivated in the clients I have taught and the dogs I wrangled throughout the past 20 years have fostered an exceptional pack that aids in rehabilitating new dogs anxieties or fears, teaching them patience and trust like never before. Since the start of the daycare back in 2005 I have had a pack of dogs that on a continuous basis kept the pack hierarchy going, as one dog left a new one came along to learn the ropes. The longest a member attended our daycare was 12 years! And boy do I miss 'Woody'.
I have maintained top position and the pack instinctively knows what I need and want and work with me to achieve the calm and happy pack we have today.
This rewarding experience is a highlight of our pack's journey, and they all flourish in this nurturing environment. It's a way for them to live a true dog life.

BEHAVIOURAL CONSULTATIONS
A behaviourist studies a human or dog's habits, body language, emotion and life history to understand the reasons behind its issues and behaviours. When there is no available history, the focus shifts to identifying and analyzing specific behaviours you can see in both human and dog, to gain insight into the their experiences and skills to determine the most effective course of action moving forward.
Our assessment is a 2 hour visit to your home for a complete understanding of their environment and influences. This assessment will give you an understanding of how far the dog needs to go to become a well balanced and happy dog, and what training style will suit you best to get there.
